I finally found an hour to process some of the photos that I took in Vegas last weekend. The net result is that I'm quite happy with the vantagepoints I found, but now I'm having severe glass envy. I want a lens that reaches to 400-500mm, but they're wicked expensive. (My birthday is coming up, hint hint.)

The Anthem shot is what I had in mind when I went down there, but I'm not happy with the technical image quality. See also: want better glass. I don't think I could get away with printing it 5' wide and have it work

those are awesome views of the Vegas "skyline" (if that's what you call it) at night. I love big cities at night, and vegas is one of those cities that never sleeps and always has some energy to it.

Wow. Wow, wow, wow.

You know you have to be logged in to flickr to get to the big sizes? I tried them both and decided that Vox was actually better for panoramas because you could get to the original in like one fewer click.

Actually, you have to be on my computer at home to get the biggest sizes. The originals are 15K-20K pixels wide, and Flickr can't handle them, so I downsize them to 5K before uploading.
